CAN I MASH THE POTATOES INSTEAD OF GRATING?

Mashing is a big NO. the constancy will be off. you won’t get the same texture as you would when grating.

WHAT GOES WELL WITH THESE ALOO KI TIKKIS?

You have to have the chutneys. Green Chutney and Khatti Meethi Chutney will go perfectly with this. If you want you can split the Tikki in the middle with the knife and split it open, and pour the chutneys on top with some sev .
