Ingredients

  • 3 cups wheat flour atta
  • 1 tbsp kosher salt
  • 2 cups of water

Instructions

Hand kneading technique

  • Add 3 cups of wheat flour (atta) in a wide-sized bowl. Now add salt.
  • Make a well in the center as seen in the video.
  • Add 2 cup water slowing working the flour as seen in the video.

Standing Mixer technique

  • Combine all ingredients in a standing mixer and let it run of medium for about 8-10 minutes or until the dough is formed.

Shaping the dough

  • While shaping the dough, Let the tawa get hot on medium-high heat.
  • Shape the dough like in the video.

  • As soon as you place the chapati, start moving it fast with a paper towel or a towel.
