Ingredients

  • 4 golden-medium potatoes cut in circles.
  • cup olive oil
  • ¾ cup water

Whole spice

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

Powdered spices

  • ½ tsp red chili powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt or as needed

Instructions

  • In a medium-size pot, on medium heat, add olive oil, and let it heat up.
  • Add cumin seeds let it sizzle.
  • Then add potatoes sauté them for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add powdered spices and salt and mix.
  • Add water, mix, and let it come to a boil.
  • Then cover the lid and let it cook for 9-10 minutes or until potatoes are done.
  • Serve it with a chapati. Enjoy!
