Garlic Butter Mushrooms

Garlic Butter Mushrooms are lightly sauted infused with fresh herbs along with some garlic. It's a ideal side dish from your weeknight meal to your thanksgiving feast. It comes together in 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp olive oil extra virgin
  • ½ onion chopped
  • 1 lbs mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp thyme fresh or dried
  • 1 tbsp parsley fresh or dried
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tsp white grape juice
  • salt and pepper as needed
  • 2 tbsp water optional
  • 1 tbsp all purpose flour optional

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, heat butter and oil on medium heat.
  • Saute the onion and garlic until soften about 3 minutes.
  • Add mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add white grape juice and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Stir in thyme, parsley, salt, and pepper then cook for 30 seconds and mix well.
  • Garnish with parsley and thyme.

Notes

Notes:
If it gets too runny, in a separate bowl add water and all purpose flour and mix it together.  Stir in that mixture slowly to prevent any lumps. Keep stirring until it's smooth.
