Sweet Creamy Firni With Rice Flour is super simple and delicious dessert! A creamy pudding made with ground rice, half & half, & heavy cream.

- 8 cups half & half
- ½ cup heavy whipping cream
- ¼ cup basmati rice
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 green cardamoms
- 2 cloves
- 1 tsp kewra
- 4 tbsp rice flour
- water
Soak the rice in about one cup of water for 15-20 minutes.
Drain the rice.
Set aside.
On medium heat, place a tawa on stove, add half and half, cloves, and cardamom to a pot and place the pot on the stove.
Now let it come to a boil.
Place the drained rice in a blender with 1-2 tbsp of that boiling half n half.
Grind the rice until it becomes a thick paste like constancy.
Stir in the rice paste.
Let it come to a boil then stir for 20 seconds repeat this process about 12-15 times. (Please keep a count, this process will take about 1 hr-1hr15min and also DO NOT scrub the sides.)
Now stir in the rice flour.
Keep stiring until the firni thickens this should take few minutes.
Next add in the heavy whipping cream, sugar and kewra.
Stir for 5-10 minutes nonstop until It thickens.
Turn off the stove.
Dish the Firni out into clay bowls or any kind of bowls.
Garnish with slivered pistachios.
