- 4 medium tomatoes
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp cilantro chopped
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ½ green pepper
Whole spices
- ¼ tsp caraway seeds kalongi
- 1 dried long red pepper
Powdered spices
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp black salt
- ¼ tsp kosher salt
In a medium-size fry pan on medium heat add oil and let it heat up.
Add the whole spices.
Sauté for 20 seconds.
Add ginger garlic paste, sauté for 10 seconds.
Next add tomatoes and mix well for 3 minutes or until tomatoes softens.
Add powdered spices and salt and mix well for 2 minutes.
Now add cilantro, green pepper, and fresh lemon juice.
Mix for 5 minutes.
