- 1 lbs ground beef
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 medium onion thinly sliced
- 1 green pepper
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 3 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 tomatoes chopped
Whole Spices
- 1 cinnamon
- 3 cloves
- 5 black peppercorns
- 4 green cardamoms
Powdered spices
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 1¼ tsp kosher salt
In a medium size pot, on medium heat, add olive oil, let it heat up.
Add onion and sauté until tranlscent.
Next add the whole spices and mix for 10 seconds
Now add ginger garlic paste and mix for 10 seconds.
Add the ground beef, sauté it well until it changes color.
Next add tomatoes and mix.
Add tomato paste and mix until the the tomato paste mix well and the tomatoes softens.
Now add green pepper and mix well.
Add salt and powdered spices and mix.
Let it cook for 5 minutes.
Now place the lid, and turn the stove to medium low heat for 10-15 minutes.
Uncover the lid.
Garnish with Garam Masala Powder, ginger (optional), and fresh cilantro.
