Quick Keema Curry (Pakistani Ground Beef) offers the perfect balance of simplicity and speed — quick, easy, and packed with flavor. Every bite bursts with taste, making it ideal for weeknight cravings or efficient meal prep.

    WHAT IS KEEMA?

Quick Keema Curry (Pakistani Ground Beef), is minced beef cooked with tasty spices. It's made in a yummy curry with tomatoes and yogurt. This Pakistani recipe tarted in Northern India and became popular all over Pakistan. Now, it's a favorite, just like Chapli Kababs and Keema Matar.

My brother doesn't even like ground beef but he love this Keema Curry.

    WHY MAKE THIS RECIPE?

    • It's easy and quick.
    • Great comfort food.
    • Versatile
    • Flavorful

    WHY KEEMA IS SO VERSATILE?

Keema is super versatile and works well in many meals. You can enjoy it with spaghetti, rice and Moong and Masoor Dal. It also tastes great when mixed with vegetables like potatoes, peas, cauliflower, and more!

    INGREDIENTS

    • Ground beef- For the best result in terms of flavor for this recipe I suggest using 20% fat ground beef.
    • Onion- Although this recipe calls for freshly sliced onion, the store-bought fried onion can easily be substituted.
    • Whole and powdered spices- They unleashes the flavor in the Keema.
    • Tomatoes- Fresh tomatoes is highly encouraged for the flavor of this recipe.

    HOW TO MAKE KEEMA?

Add olive oil, onion and sauté it until translucent.
    Now add whole spices.
    Add Homemade Ginger Garlic Paste.
    Add ground beef.
Now add tomatoes and mix well.
Add tomato paste and mix well.
Now add green pepper and mix well!
    Add salt and powdered spices.
    Cover and let it cook.
    It should look like this.
Garnish with homemade Garam Masala, fresh cilantro, and ginger (optional).
    Enjoy with fresh Homemade chapati.

    HOW TO STORE KEEMA?

Keema is great for eating it fresh, being refrigerated, or frozen. It's good for a week in the refrigerator and 2-3 months in the freezer.

      5 stars
Had ground beef but didn't want tacos. Came across this recipe and decided to try it. Turned out so good! Kids and husband enjoyed! Put over elbow noodles for my girls because they requested "pasta" for dinner.
