- 2 medium golden potatoes
- 1 cauliflower
- ⅓ medium onion thickly cut
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 cup water
- 1 green pepper finely chopped
- 1 tomato chopped
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
Whole spices
- 2 bay leaves
- ½ tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 5 cloves
- 2 black cardamoms
- 5 black peppercorns
- 4 green cardamoms
Garnish
- 1 tbsp cilantro finely chopped
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp dried fenugreek leaves
In a pot, on medium heat, add oil, and let it heat up.
Add onion and green pepper and sauté until translucent.
Now add whole spices and sauté that for 10 seconds.
Add potatoes and mix well for 30 seconds.
Next add ginger garlic paste and mix well.
Now add a tomato and mix well for 2-3 minutes.
Add powder spices and salt and mix well!
Next add cauliflower and mix well for 2-3 minutes.
Add water and mix well.
Place lid on the pot and let it cook for 7-10 minutes or until potatoes and cauliflower are fully cooked.
Add peas and mix well.
Next add fresh lemon juice and mix well.
Cover the pot with lid and turn the stove to medium-low for 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with cilantro and dry fenugreek leaves.
