- 1 lbs ground beef
- 1 medium onion thinly sliced
- 4 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 medium tomatoes chopped
- 1 serrano pepper (green pepper)
- ½ cup yogurt
- ⅓ cup olive oil or any neutral oil
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 eggs hard-boiled
Whole spices
- 5 black peppercorns
- 4 cloves
- 1 black cardamom
- 2 green cardamoms
- a small cinnamon stick
Garnish
- 1 tbsp cilantro finely chopped
Anda Keema Curry
In a pot or skillet, on medium heat, add oil, and let it heat up.
Now add whole spices and let it sizzle for 10 seconds.
Add onion and green pepper.
Sauté until translucent.
Add ginger garlic paste and mix.
Now add tomatoes and mix.
Add powdered spices and salt and mix.
Now add ground beef and mix.
Add yogurt and mix.
Cover and let it cook on medium for 15 minutes or until the ground beef is done.
Remove the lid.
Add fresh lemon juice and mix well.
Now place the eggs on the ground beef and sprinkle some cilantro on top.
Serve immediately with a hot paratha.
