Sarah & Vaquas  - We fell in love with Panna Cotta when we visited a Swiss village called Masssagno, just outside of Lugano. It's located in southern Switzerland, the Italian part of Swiss. Panna Cotta is a famous Italian dessert. This dessert had us screaming "OHHH LORD!!!" with our eyes wide opened. lol.

There are various  techniques to assemble this dessert. However, today we'll be teaching you the glass technique. We have tried to do this effect in a long baking dish, then we found that our classic loaf pan is perfect to get the effect we want. We were intimidated but once you know what you are doing its quite easy to bring this effect on your glasses.

When you are straining the sauce from the blender  to a saucepan, to make the sauce smooth. This process can take up to 10 minutes but it's so worth it. The smoothness of the sauce authenticates this recipe. The smoother the sauce the better.

To make this dessert you have to have unflavored gelatin, we can't stress that enough. If you use flavor gelatin it will give you a very different taste. Believe us, we made that mistake before. I am using halal gelatin in this recipe. Also, make sure the water that you use to mix the gelatin is cold because if it's room temp your Panna will not stick.

This is perfect dessert for Valentine's Day. To make someone feel special just by making something unique is special in its own way. If you want to make it for 4 people you'd double the recipe of the Panna part which is the white part. Don't worry about making the extra sauce because with this recipe you will have some sauce leftover. if you want you can cut the sauce recipe in half. However, our daughter likes to eat the sauce in between two slices of bread (weird things toddler do). This dessert is toddler approved our daughter loves the Panna Cotta. This recipe is a hit. It can be made ahead of time. We hope you try this recipe this Valentine's day, or you can make it for your next dinner party and we're sure you'll impress all your guests with this recipe. We hope everyone has a great Valentine's Day. As always, if you try any of our recipes be sure to tag us on instagram @twoclovesinapot. we value honest feedback. Happy Valentine's Day from both of us.
