It takes 15-20 minutes to make and then resting time is 30 minutes. It's sweet plus has a bit tart flavor to it. It's completely delicious, Nevertheless, I first hosted thanksgiving in 2014 at my parents house, everybody loved the food. Ever since then I have been hosting thanksgivings unless we are traveling. This cranberry sauce is insanely mouthwatering, filled with favor and also everyone's favorite that comes to my thanksgiving feast and this little side dip always there to steal the show.
Ingredients to make the cranberry sauce
The ingredients you need to make the best cranberry sauce are:
- Cranberries: You want cranberries that are fresh and bouncy.
Orange juice: Please don't use store-bought, juice the oranges yourself for better taste.
Vanilla extract: Just a hint of vanilla extract will make a big difference.
Salt: Just a hint
Orange zest: It's a game changer gives that perfect flavor to the recipe.
Cinnamon stick: OH MY GOD This is a perfect ingredient that you will love in your sauce.

Can cranberry sauce be frozen and save it for a later use?
Best cranberry sauce freezes so well, pack it tight in a mason jar. It can be frozen for up to 3 months just take out the jar a night before to defrost out in a sink. Then in the morning place the jar in the refrigerator and I would make it on thanksgiving and freeze some for your Christmas dinner as well.
