Let’s tangy things up with Achari Bhindi With Homemade Achari Masala! This dish is packed with bold, pickled flavors and perfectly balanced spices. A touch of Homemade Achari Masala makes it irresistible—easily the best Achari Bhindi recipe ever!

    ACHARI BHINDI

Achari Bhindi With Homemade Achari Masala is a tangy okra dish made with onion and tomato and all these flavors come together to create a tangy pickled taste, enhanced by my homemade Achari Masala. This quick and easy Pakistani vegetarian recipe that comes together in no time and is my go-to dish—I make it once every two weeks.

I grew up enjoying simple okra curry, but my husband introduced me to dishes like Achari Aloo and Achari Bhindi. Now, after making this recipe so many times, I could practically cook it with my eyes closed!

    INGREDIENTS

    • Olive Oil: I used olive oil, but you can use any neutral oil like vegetable oil or grapeseed oil.
    • Okra: Scroll to the next section for tips on how to cut the okra for this recipe.
    • Onion: I prefer red onion for cooking, but white onion works just as well as a substitute.
    • Ginger-Garlic Paste: I used homemade ginger garlic paste, but store-bought works just fine.
    • Tomato: One tomato is enough for this recipe, adding a nice tangy kick.
    • Homemade Achari Masala: This Homemade Achari Masala is the star ingredient, delivering the ultimate tangy, pickled flavor to this dish.

    HOW TO CUT THE OKRA?

Cut the bottom and the top of okra.

Now cut the okra into little pieces like you see in the picture.

    Done!

    HOW TO MAKE ACHARI BHINDI?

Add oil and onion. Saute until translucent.

    Now add ginger garlic paste.

    Add tomato and green peppers.

    Now add Homemade Achari Masala.

Add okra and let it cook.

    Done!

    SERVE ACHARI BHINDI WITH...

I personally like to serve Achari Bhindi with Homemade yogurt and Homemade Chapati.
