Who can resist the allure of a delightful 15-Minute Indian/Pakistani Masala Chai ? This exquisite blend of spices imparts a rich and flavorful experience without being excessively spicy. Renowned not only in India and Pakistan but also cherished globally, this beverage has gained widespread popularity.
WHAT IS MASALA CHAI?
The 15-Minute Indian/Pakistani Masala Chai stands as a quintessential beverage in Urdu and Hindi, where "masala" translates to spice, and "chai" denotes tea. This spiced tea is traditionally enjoyed during breakfast or evening tea time, paired with an array of delectable accompaniments such as sandwiches, chaats, samosas, and pakoras.
This Pakistani drink recipe is not only fabulous but also refreshingly distinct, much like my other chai creations. It's worth noting that there is no universally recognized authentic masala chai, as everyone tends to have their own unique version – and here is mine.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN REGULAR CHAI AND MASALA CHAI
Chai and Masala Chai differ mainly in the addition of spices. Chai includes black tea and hot milk, while Masala Chai combines black tea, milk, and spices. The growing popularity of Chai has led Western tea enthusiasts to use terms like "chai tea" or "chai latte" for milk-infused tea drinks, reflecting the evolving language of tea culture. Here is my Regular chai recipe.
WHICH BRAND OF TEABAGS TO USE?
