5-Minute Sweet Mango Lassi - with merely few ingredient and yogurt. This recipe has to be one of the best recipes. I claim that it's better than any restaurant's Mango Lassi.

    WHAT IS MANGO LASSI?

5-Minute Sweet Mango Lassi is a sweet yogurt-based drink. The flavorful and refreshing drink is an international delicacy, most commonly found in South Asian restaurants. It's extremely popular in India and Pakistan, although it originated in India and made its way to Pakistan. This Pakistani/Indian recipe is extremely popular worldwide.

This Indian/Pakistani drink recipe cools down your body on a hot summer day. Mango Lassi is indubitably a must-try at any restaurant, but today I am here to help you make a tall, refreshing glass of the sweet drink at home like Sweet Lassi or Sweet Rose Lassi.

WHAT KIND OF MANGOS TO USE IN MANGO LASSI?

In UK, Pakistani or Indian mangoes are easily available. Now in United States, Pakistani and Indian mangoes are not easily available if you don't live in a big city there is no way you can get your hands on Pakistani and Indian mangoes.

I live in a small city so I don't have access to Pakistani or Indian mangoes but if I were to buy Pakistani mangoes for I would pick Anwar Ratol and Chaunsa (My favorite), As for Indian mangoes I would pick Alphonse.

Fun Fact: A gelato shop named Amorino serves mango gelato and their mango gelato is made with Alphonse Mangoes from India.

In US we get South American mangoes, California mangoes, Florida mangoes, and Arizona mangos. Although the one from trader Joe's or Costco I believe they are called Honey Champagne and Ataulfo those taste great. I used Ataulfo ones for this recipe.

Frozen Mangoes are a great option. However, if you use frozen mangoes you'd use more mango pulp.

    INGREDIENTS FOR MANGO LASSI

    • Mangoes- Cut the mangoes into 3-4 long slices to add them in the blender.
    • Yogurt- I used homemade yogurt but you can use store-bought.
    • Mango Pulp- you can make it at home but store-bought is fine I used the store-bought one.
    • Sugar- I used regular sugar but you can use Stevia and Splenda for a healthier option.

    HOW TO MAKE MANGO LASSI?

    Add mangoes.

    Then add pulp and sugar.

    Blend.

    Now add yogurt, and ice.

    Blend.

    Enjoy!

WHAT TO SERVE WITH MANGO LASSI?

Serve fresh warm Homemade Paratha along with with Mango Lassi.
