    Next add rice.
    Next add water.

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup basmati rice
    • 2 cups water
    • 2 cloves
    • 1 tsp cumin seeds
    • 1 tsp salt or as taste

    Instructions

    • Add olive oil in a pot on medium heat.
    • Let it heat up.
    • Now add in cloves and cumin seeds.
    • Sauté the cloves and cumin seeds with in the oil for 10-15 seconds.
    • Add in the rice and water.
    • Give a mix.
    • Let it cook and bring to a boil until you see the water evaporating.
    • When it's half the water is evaporated.
    • Cover the lid and let it cook on medium-low for 10 minutes or until all the water evaporated.
    • Now turn the stove to low, let it cook on low for 5 minutes. Remember the lid is still on the pot.
    • It's done. Serve immediately.
