Mango Lassi is a sweet, yogurt-based drink. The flavorful and refreshing drink is an international delicacy, most commonly found in the gulleys and restaurants adorning the South Asian subcontinent. It's a delightful mixture of sugar, mango, mango pulp, and yogurt, and the moment it first trickles down your throat is the beginning of a delicious and lifelong appreciation for Mango Lassi. If you're trying to lose weight, it may not be the best drink to incorporate into your diet. But it's a perfect drink to cool down your body on a hot summer day. This drink takes me back to Pakistan; my maternal uncle used to make it for me before leaving for work. There are hundreds of types of lassi, ranging from salty to sweet to fruity. Mango Lassi is indubitably a must-try at any restaurant, but today I am here to help you make a tall, refreshing glass of the sugary drink at home.
HOW TO MAKE THE PERFECT MANGO LASSI?
Mangos are the obvious ingredient here, but the pulp is the crucial part here. The pulp will enhance the taste. Here is the mango pulp that I use.

When people make any kind of lassi they typically eyeball the ingredients, but I tried to write everything down to the T:
- Chunks of mangos: Will give you the authentic mango flavor in your lassi.
- Yogurt: A must-have, an irreplaceable component of any lassi.
- Mango pulp: Enhances the flavor of the mango lassi.
- Sugar: Brings the right amounts of sweetness.
- Ice Cube: Will chill the lassi so it will be cool and refreshing.
HOW TO MAKE THE PREPARE THE LASSI?
In a blender, add mango chucks, mango pulp, sugar and blend it for 2 minutes.
Now add yogurt, and ice cubes and blend it again for 2 minutes.

- 2 mangos cut in chunks
- 2 cup yogurt
- 1½ cup mango pulp
- 1½ cups sugar
- ½ cup ice cubes
- In a blender, add mango chucks, mango pulp, sugar and blend it for 2 minutes.
