Sweet Mango Custard With Custard Powder is a classic Pakistani/Indian dessert. It's easy to come together and then ready to go in the refrigerator to set.

    WHAT IS MANGO CUSTARD?

Sweet Mango Custard with Custard Powder is a simple and delicious dessert. You just mix custard powder with milk and sugar on the stovetop, then let it set and chill in the refrigerator. It’s one of the quickest and easiest desserts to make. While traditional Pakistani desserts like Kulfi or Sooji Ka Halwa are classics, for me, this is one of the best Pakistani/Indian dessert recipes.

This feels like a bowl of my childhood. If you grew up in Pakistan, you know that Mango Custard is a nostalgic treat, and it certainly is for me. It takes me back to my childhood in Pakistan. This Pakistani/Indian recipe was very popular then and still is today.

Who doesn’t love Mango? I could have Mango Delight for breakfast, Mango Ice cream for lunch, and Mango Custard for dinner. It’s my favorite dessert fruit! I remember when we first moved to America, mangoes weren’t as popular here, and classic Pakistani/Indian desserts like Mango Custard weren’t well-known either.

    INGREDIENTS

With just 4 ingredients, you can make a delicious dessert.

    • Milk: I used whole milk, but low-fat milk works too.
    • Sugar: Regular sugar is fine, but you can use Splenda or Stevia, though the taste may vary.
    • Mango Custard Powder: Any brand will work for this recipe.
    • Mango chunks: Mix them into the custard and use them as a garnish too.

    HOW TO MAKE MANGO CUSTARD?

    Add milk and sugar.

Now add some milk with custard powder.

    Whisk well!

Now add the custard powder mixture in the saucepan with the milk and sugar.

Turn off the stove and dish the custard in bowls and refrigerator for few hours.

    Enjoy!

    HOW TO STORE IT?

Store the custard in an airtight container or tightly wrapped in cling wrap and refrigerate. It will stay fresh for 2-3 days, but this recipe isn’t suitable for freezing.

Hey Friend, You’ve made it this far, so now we’re basically best friends! If you make this recipe, I’d love for you to give it a quick review & star rating ★ below. Make sure you follow me on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
