Come learn How To Make Homemade Anda Paratha. It's egg and Paratha. It's a traditional breakfast or ideal for Suhoor during Ramadan.

    WHAT IS ANDA PARATHA?

Let me teach you How To make Homemade Anda Paratha at home. Anda Paratha is an Indian/Pakistani style omelette wrapped in a Paratha. Anda Paratha translates to Egg and fried flatbread in Urdu. This is a traditional Indian/Pakistani breakfast I always have it when I go to Pakistan along with some tradition Doodh Patti.

This Indian/Pakistani recipe reminds of the Anda Paratha that I have back from a Dhaba (small shack). Breakfast is a big thing in Pakistani culture, You can expect anything from Beef Nihari, Khagina, or Sooji Halwa.

    TEXTURE OF THE OMELETTE

In Anda Paratha the omelette is extremely thin so it gets rolled in the Paratha easily. The making of an omelette is an art. The texture of the omelette is smooth.

    INGREDIENTS

    • Eggs- I personally use organic eggs.
    • Green Pepper- you can finely chop the green pepper.
    • Cilantro- You can finely chop the cilantro as well.
    • Onion- I used red onion but you can use yellow as well.
    • Paratha- Make a delicious homemade paratha or use store-bought like me.

    HOW TO MAKE ANDA PARATHA?

Whisk together the egg, red chili powder, red chili flakes, and salt.

Add tomato, cilantro, onion, and green pepper.

Add oil and butter in a fry pan.

    Make the omelette.

Take out the egg on the paratha and roll it in parchment paper.

    Enjoy!

WHAT TO SERVE WITH THIS RECIPE?

Serve Anda Paratha with Sweet Lassi, Doodh Patti, or a classic Masala Chai. For a breakfast dessert try Sooji Ka Halwa.
